Varsity Football went to 3-0 on the year with a big win over Caston last Friday night! The defense played well, causing multiple turnovers on the night. Braylon McIntire and Avery Piel both intercepted passes on the night. McIntire also recovered a fumble on the evening. 15 different defenders racked up tackles on the night as the Warriors kept the Comets to only 14 points. Offensively, the line (Logan Smith, Kam Whann, Jordan Simon, Zeph Reshkus, Nate Wildermuth, and Alex Mosley) led the way with 317 Rushing yards and converting 7/10 3rd down conversions. Hartley Hoover rushed for 115 yards and 2 touchdowns while also throwing the ball for 28 yards and a score to Junior Tight End Colin Floyd. Kody Whann rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns on the night while Lake Musall and Ryan Meredith combined for over 100 rushing yards between the two wing backs. The Warriors are on the road this Friday as they travel to North Judson for a 7:30pm kickoff.
