North Miami Lady Warriors suffered a close loss, 42-39, versus Maconaquah on Friday. The Warriors faced a tough challenge, as they fell behind by 12 points, but never gave up and tried to mount a comeback. Mac went on an 8-point run to start the game. The third quarter proved to be a turning point for North Miami Varsity Warriors as they outscored Mac 10-7. North Miami shot 3-4 in the quarter. Laney Musall led North Miami in scoring with 20 points. Musall and Victoria Masters each hit multiple three-pointers for the Lady Warriors. The team shot 7-20 (35%) from beyond the arc. Musall pounded the glass, collecting 10 rebounds to lead North Miami. Also contributing for North Miami were Masters (9 points), Kayden Donaldson (3 points), Porscha Pickett (3 points), Grace Sailors (2 points), and Audi Medina (2 points).
