North Miami Lady Warriors defeat Northfield behind strong performance from Kayden Donaldson. Kayden Donaldson scored 16 points to lead North Miami Warriors past Northfield, 42-37, on Saturday. North Miami Warriors went on a 10-point run to start the game. North Miami had a strong first half, leading 15-12 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory. The Lady Warriors controlled the first quarter, outscoring Northfield 10-0. North Miami Warriors rebounded the ball well, collecting 26 rebounds. Grace Sailors led the team with eight rebounds. North Miami Warriors blocked four shots in the game. Donaldson led the team with three blocks. Laney Musall (13 points), Sailors (8 points), Layla Hampton (3 points), and Victoria Masters (2 points) also pitched in for North Miami Warriors. Next up the lady warriors will travel to Tippy Valley Wednesday Jan. 15th. @ 6pm followed by and big Conference game at Home Saturday Jan. 18th @ 6pm.
