JV had yet again a tough start to get the ball in the basket and prevent the Vikings from scoring. The Warriors found themselves down over 20 at the half and had a lot of work to do. The second half was similar to the first with NM showing a little bit more fight, but Valley still walked away with a 51-25 win over the Warriors. Varsity picked up where they left off Saturday and kept their game in single digits for all 32 minutes. Valley scored first but then NM came right back at them and it remained like that pretty much all night. NM was only down 8 at the half, and came out with a bang to begin their comeback. The Warriors had put themselves in a position to win again, but the Vikings made adjustments when necessary and prevented it from happening. Valley took a 49-44 win on NM’s home court in a hard fought battle. The Warriors will travel to Triton for their final road conference game to take on a very tough Trojan team.
