North Miami Lady Warriors Fall Just Short Against Triton Trojans, 44-45.

The North Miami Lady Warriors battled but ended up narrowly losing to the Triton Trojans with a score of 44-45 on Saturday. Kayden Donaldson delivered an outstanding performance, leading the team with a double-double of 15 points, 12 rebounds, and an impressive 5 blocked shots. Her defensive presence in the paint was crucial, showcasing her ability to protect the rim and convert on the offensive end. Grace Sailors also made significant contributions, contributing another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, along with 4 blocks. Her relentless effort on the boards kept North Miami competitive throughout the game. Audi Medina added 10 points while also dishing out 2 assists and grabbing 2 steals, Porscha Pickett's showed some aggressive defensive as she recorded 5 steals, while also scoring 2 points. Layla Hampton rounded out the scoring with 2 points and 3 rebounds. Kinley Deardorff provided some good minutes off the bench having 2 assists and 1 steal. Despite a strong collective effort, the Lady Warriors fell just short in the final moments of the game. The North Miami Lady Warriors will look to bounce back on Tuesday, December 9th, on the road as they face off against the Pioneer Panthers with a 6:00pm JV start time.
