Your North Miami WARiors took 2nd place in a 17-team field Saturday at the John McKee Memorial tournament at Rochester High School, falling short by just 9 team points. However, the Warriors produced 4 champions (Hoover, McIntire, Simon, and Moore), 2 runner-ups (Winters and Silva), 3 third-place winners (Duncan, Smith, and Pattison), a fifth-place winner (Hawkins), and 2 sixth-place winners (Collins and Tachney). In an overall outstanding performance from your WARrios, one wrestler in particular cemented themselves in NM and John McKee Tournament History. Braylon McIntire. He did so by becoming 1 of 4 wrestlers in the history of the John McKee Memorial Tournament and the first ever in NM history to become a 4-time Champion!!!! Congratulations, Braylon! Your WARriors are back to work this Tonight at NM for the NM Super Duals with Wawasee, Western, Fairfield, Tri Central, and Penn V2. Wrestling begins at 3pm today.
