Warriors Win Super Duals, Hoover's have Historic Day

What a week for Warrior Wrestling. Coach Bill Hoover earned his 100th Career Dual win against Southwood last Thursday. After yesterday's Super Duals at North Miami where the Warriors went 5-0 and brought home the hardware, Coach Hoover now sits at 105 career dual wins. In the second dual of the day, Hartley Hoover, Senior 215lb. wrestler for North Miami broke the school pin record. He dominated and pinned the #4 ranked wrestler in the state of Indiana for that record breaking pin. Hartley broke the record and added two more on the day. He now sits at 84 career pins for the Warriors. The Warriors dominated the Super Duals at North Miami by beating Wawasee (55 - 23), Fairfield (69 - 6), Penn (2nd Team 57 - 18), Tri-Central (65 - 12), and Western (58 - 12). On the day all the young men wrestled tough. Going 5-0, undefeated on the day was Hartley Hoover (215lb), Jordan Simon (190lb), Cooper Pattison (157lb), Riley Collins (144lb), Rex Moore (126lb), Braylon McIntire (120lb), and Hunter Duncan (113lb). The Warriors are back in action Saturday at the Matt Koontz Classic at Whitko.
