North Miami Middle/High School

The Girls participated at the Bremen Sectional last Tuesday. Tonight, Andrea Hoover and Grace Sailors will compete at Goshen for a chance to head to State next week. Sectionals were a great showing! We had many PR performances. Grace Sailors advanced with a second place finish in HJ while Andrea Hoover advanced by winning Shot Put. Leah Shafer finished just outside of regional qualifying with a 4th place finish and PR in the 300h. Also, Ashtyn Halterman posted a PR in the long jump and made the finals before finishing in 5th place while Grace also finished with a PR in the 100h and finals appearance and 6th overall. Our boys season came to an end on Thursday at Plymouth. It was a great year of growth and development along with PR performances. Kam Whann finished his career with a finals appearance and 5th overall place in the shot put before he heads to throw at IUK next season while Jacob Julian claimed 6th in the HJ and our 4x100 team earned an 8th place finish.
