North Miami Middle/High School

The North Miami boys soccer team traveled to Rochester for their first game of the season. The Warriors fell to the Zebras 1-0 in a tightly contested defensive contest. The score was deadlocked at 0-0 in the first half as North Miami controlled most of the way, but could not connect on several scoring opportunities. It was much of the same in second half until midway through when Rochester capitalized on a loose ball opportunity in front of the net for the final margin. The Warriors collected 12 shots on goal along with 5 corner kick opportunities. Zeke Gerstorff collected 7 saves on the day. North Miami's Max Preps Player of the Game was junior Jace Hall. North Miami returns to action on Tuesday at Manchester.
