Warrior Football vs. Northfield Final Score: 35-7 The Warriors ran for over 300 yards as a team on the evening clinching the week 1 victory. Kody Whann led the way on the ground with 21 carries for 126 yards and 2 Touchdowns. The warriors spread the ball around with 9 different ball carriers on the evening. Hartley Hoover had 48 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns. Lake Musall added in 42 yards while Ryan Meredith had 50 yards rushing and a two-point conversion. Sophomore Cooper Pattison had 2 carries for 26 yards and a touchdown on the night as well. Leading the way up front was Alex Mosely, Kam Whann, Jordan Simon, Zeph Reshkus, Nate Wildermuth, and Logan Smith. Defensively the Warriors intercepted the Norse twice, one for Braylon McIntire and the other for Logan Jones-Faine. The Warriors also had two fumble recoveries on the evening as well. The Warriors play the Sheridan Blackhawks at home this next Friday.
