The Lady Warriors traveled to Peru on Monday and in a heat that prompted extra water breaks, defeated the Tigers 1-0. The goal finally came for the Warriors in the second half when the Peru keeper punted a ball and North Miami outside defender Porscha Pickett popped it back into our offensive half which Brylee Edwards was then able to control toward goal, take a couple of touches and play a solid low passing shot to beat the keeper and a defender far post. Lindsey Pugh earns the clean sheet in goal. The Lady Warriors are now 2-1-1. Next up: Tuesday, September 3 vs Tippy Valley at 5:30pm
