Warriors Middle School Football falls to North Judson.

The Warriors Middle School faced the North Judson Blue Jays at Dubois Field on Monday Night. North Judson jumped out early with 2 touchdowns and converted both 2 point conversions, bringing the score 0-16. Oliver Wildermuth responded for the Warriors with a touchdown of his own bringing the score to 6-16 at the half. The second half saw the Warriors mount a comeback with the defense stepping up and stopping North Judson’s drives and the Warrior offense responding with a touchdown by Urijah Korba to bring the score closer to 12 – 16. The Blue Jays responded with another touchdown, with their 2 point conversion good bringing the score to 12 – 24. North Miami responded with another touchdown by Oliver Wildermuth along with a 2 point conversion by Jension Carr bringing the score to 20-24 in the favor of North Judson. After a critical red zone stand, the Warriors received the ball with a little over 2 minutes to score, however a last second penalty nullified any chance for the comeback and the Warriors fell to the final score of North Miami 20 – North Judson 24. The next middle school game will be Tuesday, September 24 at home against Pioneer. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m.
