Warrior JV Football vs. Pioneer Final Score: 14-8 The Warrior JV Football went to 2-1 on the year with a big win over Pioneer Monday night! The defense played well, causing multiple turnovers on the night. Michael Cleaver and Hunter Lawson both recovered fumbles for the Warriors while Cooper Pattison Caused a fumble. Nathan Hiffner sacked the quarterback for the panthers, while a slew of other Warriors made many tackles on the evening. Offensively, the line (Hunter Lawson, Eli Winters, Gabe Butzin, Kaiden Badger, and Nathan Hiffner) led the way with over 130 rushing yards as a team. Carrying the ball on the night were sophomores Cooper Pattison, Alan Wildermuth (1 rushing touchdown), Alex Towles (1 Touchdown), and freshman Aiden Cash. In the defensive backfield Sophomores Hayden Spin and Hunter Duncan both batted down passes on the night. The JV team will be in action this Saturday morning at 10am at Winamac.
