North Miami Middle/High School

On Tuesday, the North Miami cross country team hosted the Miami County meet. Peru, Maconaquah, and North Miami were the participants. Maconaquah defended their titles as county champs. In the girls’ race, freshman Leah Shafer finished in 5th place in a time of 24:05, while junior Leah Miller crossed the finish line in 28:03, good for 10th place overall. For the boys, sophomore Michael Miser had a finish time of 21:14, landing an 8th place award. Senior Ethan Johnston had a 12th place finish with a time of 22:12. The Warriors will travel to Huntington University Saturday to compete in the New Haven Invitational
