The Warriors closed out the regular season with a 1-1 draw at Wabash on Monday. The Warriors took the lead mid-way through the first half when Brady Coppler broke free for a shot on goal that was deflected by the Apache keeper but Joel Wilcox was there to crash the deflection and give the Warriors the lead. The score held throughout the first half and partway through the second before a NM hand ball in the box allowing Wabash to tie the game with a PK. Both teams traded offensive opportunities throughout the remainder of the game but neither could capitalize resulting in the final score. Ray Pickett earned the draw in the goal while again tallying double digit saves. The Warriors compete at sectional on Monday at 5pm at Argos against conference foe Winamac.
