North Miami Middle/High School

The North Miami cross country team traveled to Northwestern High School to compete in the Northwestern Combinational. This is a regular cross country meet, but the distance is a 3K rather than a 5K. The Lady Warriors had three entries into the race, so they did not earn a team score. Sophomore Leah Shafer led North Miami, finishing in 6th place overall with a time of 14:16. Freshman Sydney Lane finished in 17th place while crossing the line in 15:40 Senior Leah Miller was 20th place overall with a time of 16:42. The Warriors will go to Monon city Park on Saturday to compete in the North White Invitational.
