Lady Warriors Hand Maconaquah Their First Loss

Volleyball Varsity vs Maconaquah High School (3 - 1) Win The North Miami Lady Warriors claimed an impressive victory over the previously undefeated Maconaquah Braves on Thursday night. North Miami came out firing, taking control early with set wins of 25-11 and 25-17. The Warriors showcased their versatility, excelling on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Zoey Sparks anchored the back row with a career-high 20 serve receptions and 15 digs. On offense, senior Grace Sailors powered the attack with 17 kills, while senior Ashtyn Haulterman added 8 of her own. Maconaquah responded in the third set, capitalizing on momentum to secure a 25-12 match win. But the Warriors refused to fold, battling back in a nail-biting fourth set. With teamwork and composure, North Miami closed out the match 26-24 to seal the 3–1 victory. This thrilling win not only snapped the Braves’ undefeated streak but also served as redemption after last year’s narrow loss the Maconaquah. Additionally, the win lifted the Lady Warriors to a 9-3 record on the season!
