The North Miami Lady Warriors made a statement in their Hoosier North Conference opener, sweeping the Triton Trojans in consecutive sets on September 2, 2025. With scores of 25-16, 25-16, and 25-12, the Warriors left little doubt about their strength on both sides of the ball. Defensively, libero Zoey Sparks set the tone, finishing with a flawless night—18 serve receptions and a perfect 10-for-10 on digs. The team’s strong defensive effort created plenty of scoring opportunities to capitalize on. Setter Chloe Sparks ran the offense with precision, racking up 31 assists on 88 attempts in just three sets. Senior hitter Grace Sailors delivered a career performance, tallying 18 kills. Fellow senior Ashtyn Haulterman added 9 kills, while sophomore Layla Hampton chipped in 8, keeping the offense balanced at the net. With the victory, North Miami improves to 1-0 in conference play and head into their next matchup against Oregon-Davis tomorrow, September 3, 2025.
