Lady Warrior finish 2nd at Conference – All Five Earn Individual Honors 🏅🏌🏻♀️ The North Miami Varsity Girls Golf team made program history at the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championship, finishing 2nd out of 8 teams with a score of 419 and placing all five golfers in the top 14 individually. Even though the Lady Warriors won conference last year, this year’s finish marks a new breakthrough: every single varsity golfer earned recognition — three with All-Conference honors and two with Honorable Mention. Adding to the challenge, the girls battled through two hours of pouring rain in the second half of their rounds. Despite the miserable conditions, they showed resilience, composure, and teamwork that proved they belong among the best in the conference. ⸻ 🏆 Team Standings 1. Pioneer – 405 2. North Miami – 419 3. Oregon Davis – Incomplete ⸻ ⛳️ Individual Results #1 Laney – 111, 12th Place, Honorable Mention Laney, the team’s senior anchor, shot a 111 to claim 12th place and Honorable Mention. While today’s round was a grind in wet conditions, it’s important to remember that she fired a 94 the last time North Miami played Round Barn. That proven ability shows just how much potential she brings into sectionals, where her leadership and experience will be key to pushing the Warriors even further. #2 Bryanne – 100, 4th Place, 🏅All-Conference Bryanne turned in a 100, highlighted by a strong front nine of 46 that set the tone for her round. Even as the rain picked up, she stayed steady and finished 4th overall in the conference. As just a freshman, she has already established herself among the conference’s elite with All-Conference honors in her debut season. #3 Kinley Deardorf – 113, 13th Place, Honorable Mention Kinley carded a 113, good for 13th place and Honorable Mention. In just her second season, she showed the grit to battle through heavy rain and still finish among the top 15. Her resilience continues to make her an important part of North Miami’s depth and future. #4 Hannah Early – 103, 6th Place, 🏅All-Conference Hannah posted a 103 with a 50 on the front and 53 on the back, playing her round with incredible focus despite worsening weather conditions. Her 6th-place finish secured All-Conference honors, a fitting recognition for the senior leader who once again provided the stability her team needed most. ❤️ #5 Alex Blackford – 105, 7th Place, 🏅All-Conference Alex posted a 105, earning 7th place overall and an All-Conference spot. She held her composure through the rain, making smart shot selections that kept her round on track. Alex’s ability to push through the grind gave the Lady Warriors another critical score that sealed their runner-up team finish. This was a proud day for North Miami Girls Golf. To have all five varsity players earn recognition is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the balance, depth, and determination of this team. Finishing 2nd as a program while placing every player in the top 14 sets a new bar for what Lady Warriors golf can achieve. And doing it in relentless rain only proves how tough and competitive this group is. With conference behind them, the Lady Warriors now turn their focus toward sectionals. With Bryanne’s freshman firepower, Hannah and Alex’s steady scoring, Savannah and Kinley’s grit, and Laney’s proven ability to go low at Round Barn, this team knows they have a real shot to make history once again!
