The Lady Warrior Soccer team played host to Argos on Saturday in their final HNAC match of the season, losing 5-0. The Warriors got off to a good start, making 6 dangerous runs and getting one shot on goal before allowing the Dragons the first goal of the game. North Miami would allow one more goal before the half. Both goals were from outside 20 yards with little keeper Lindsey Pugh could do to stop them once released. After a lengthy delay of game due to weather, the game would resume in chilly rain and wind which would wear on the shorter benched Warriors. Decent run-in's behind the Dragon defense continued, but a pressing Argos keeper kept the clean sheet while their strong offense put in 3 more goals before the final whistle. The Lady Warriors will celebrate Senior Night when they play Wabash on Tuesday, September 16 at 5:30pm with recognition immediately following the game.
