Sectional Recap – One Stroke Away Friday, our Lady Warriors turned in their lowest 18-hole score ever – 403. But with Western and Eastern both posting 402, we fell just one single stroke short of advancing. One stroke. That’s how close we were. What makes this even more special is how balanced our team is. Our #5, Savannah (116), didn’t just hold her own—she beat nearly 3/4 of the #4 golfers, about half of the #3s, and even a couple of #2s across 10 schools. Think about that: her score was technically our “highest,” yet still landed in the middle of the pack overall. That tells you everything about the depth of this team. If all five scores counted, North Miami would’ve finished a razor-thin second to Kokomo and advanced to regionals. That’s how strong this group was today. To our seniors, Laney and Hannah: Laney’s fight down the back nine was unforgettable, and Hannah’s steady leadership set the tone all season. You’ve raised the bar for every Lady Warrior who comes after you. Yes, it stings to know we were one stroke away, but these tears aren’t out of sadness—they’re out of pride. This team is young, hungry, and the future is so bright. Scores: • Laney – 93 • Bryanne – 98 • Hannah – 103 • Alex – 109 • Savannah – 116 ❤️ One stroke away from regionals… but miles ahead in heart, grit, and history.
