North Miami Middle/High School

Sophomore Leah Shafer competed at the New Haven regional meet Saturday, and she ran her second-best time ever! It was a chilly day on a challenging course, but Leah ran very well, placing 119th out of 243 runners. She crossed the finish line with a time of 21:37, running nearly a minute faster than she did last year. We are proud of all that Leah accomplished this year and are looking forward to witnessing her progress next year. Congratulations, Leah!
